Tanks electrical heating is extremely actual in different industries. More often we are addressed for the purpose of prevention from freezing, operation temperature maintenance and warming up the following products:

• water,
• oil and oil products (mazut, bitumen, goudron, oils, etc.),
• chemically active substance, solutions, suspensions. etc.,
• food products.

In oil industry with the help of tanks heating one of the most difficult and labor-intensive problems is solved; it is connected with viscous products discharging-filling operations. These operations concern essential material costs and power consumption, and also long-lasting downtime of charged containers and tanks.

 

Filling and, especially, discharging of high viscosity oil products (mazuts, bitumens, heavy oil, etc.) requires their preliminary warming up, using special discharge-filling equipment, and also equipping containers and tanks with heating devices. Absence of heating devices leads to increased terms of containers and tanks processing and incomplete discharge of oil products from them. Part of these residues is irrevocably lost because of impossibility of their utilization or is marketed as off-test product. Great amount of product is left on the walls of transportation containers, decreasing their cargo capacity and deteriorating the new loading product quality. Such problems exist not only in oil industry. Electric heating of containers and tanks in this case is the most optimal decision. Electrical heating is necessary for creation of required temperature condition, providing secure and reliable storage of products contained in them.
