PIPELINES HEATING

Heat insulation alone doesn’t prevent pipelines freezing. For example, pipe of ¾ inches with heat insulation 25 mm in thickness completely freezes only after 13 hours at ambient temperature –100 ˚Ñ. Frozen down pipelines burst, which leads to water supply break, water flooding and considerable material loss. Fuel supplying pipelines are clogged, the equipment fails in service. Teplomag industrial electrical heating system eliminates these problems effectively and in secure way.

Oil delivery break through the main pipeline practically leads to fatal consequences for oilmen. And under conditions of far north and Siberia at minus temperatures, high viscosity of pumping products and, as consequence, their low consumption, pipelines freezing problems arise before each chief power engineer of the field. Such problems arise not only in the far north regions, but also in the hot South, since there is also necessity of supplying high viscosity products for long distances there. Similar problems can be solved only by using induction-resistive heating system (IRHS-15000), which allows to heat main pipelines of unlimited length.
