2 February 2009: The preheated vessels on Harampurskoe field

Extending the partnership with companies- oil and gas equipment manufacturers, the SST company has performed the work on designing and supplying electrical heating systems for vessels with the primary insulation. In August 2008 the cable manufactured by Special systems and technologies" LLC has been successfully laid on the vessels and covered with thermal insulation at one of the largest oil and gas plants. The vessels were placed at Harampurskoe gas field in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous area.
Putting this project forward significantly upgrades the quality and operation life of the equipment, reduces the product price for the final customer as well as shortens the installation period of the equipment on the object.

12 January 2009: The pipeline system Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean is being expanded

The SST company is effectively getting on cooperating with AK Transneft" on the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean objects. In September the shipment of the products have been completed on the NPS - 14 and NPS-10 objects (oil-transfer stations No. 10 and No. 14 ).
At the present moment the equipment set-up and commissioning works are being conducted on the gas drive pumping station Taishet and on the Spetsmornefteport object Kozmino 1st and 2nd stages.
On the ES-PO project the oil is transported to the Russian Far East and at the markets of Asian-Pacific region in order to satisfy the regions" need for energy and petroleum products.

1 December 2008: International exhibition” Oil and gas of Turkmenistan” Ashgabad.

“Special systems and technologies”, LLC together with the Turkmen colleagues took part in the International exhibition “Oil and gas of Turkmenistan” from the 19 to 21st of December in Ashgabad. The members of the government institutions and the greatest international oil and gas corporations from Europe, USA, Asia and CIS attended the exhibition. The exposition welcomed the enterprises purposed at all kinds of exploration, production, storage, transportation, distribution and oil and gas processing.
“Teplomag” industrial heating system presented by SST company aroused keen interest among all participants of the exhibition. The numerous visitors of our stand noted that the pipeline heating is one of the most perspective business directions of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan. The members of the Turkmen Cabinet of ministers stressed the significance of using modern technologies.
The raw stock of the Caspian shelf, right bank of Amu-Darya and other oil and gas regions in Turkmenistan provide with the unlimited opportunities for Russian-Turkmen partnership. According to prognosis by 2030 gas production will be increased to 250 milliard cubic meters, oil production – to 110 million tons in Turkmenistan. By 2011 reconstruction of the gas pipeline system Central Asia–Central pipeline (CAC) is planned to be finished that would ensure the double increase of the Turkmen oil delivery exported to the north direction.

1 November 2008: A new self-regulating cable line release.

SST company is happy to announce about the release of the self-regulating cable lines of НТМ, НТА, НТР, ВТС, ВТХ types. At new product development the SST specialists used all the professional practice gained at production, installation and usage of self-regulating tapes. The cables of the new lines are well-positioned by the temperature characteristics: low-temperature, medium-temperature and high- temperature self-regulating cables. The new cable types are characterized with an improved construction and made in two outer jacket versions: fluoropolymer or plastic compound. 15 October 2008: Industrial pipelines and fixed platform equipment electrical heating in the Caspian Sea.

In 2007 LUKOIL company started the ice-resistant fixed platform building being a construction object of the sea oil and gas field named after Juri Korchagin on the shelf of the Caspian sea that is the first field where “LUKOIL”, JSC will start oil production on the sea shelf in this region. For the present moment “Special systems and technologies”, LLC has completed the work on electrical heating of the drilling system ЛСП-1 and gangway connecting ЛСП-1 and ЛСП-2 (fixed platform with accommodation area). At present SST company has started preparation for the next delivery of the electrical systems on ЛСП-1 platform, purposed for placement of the drilling, operation-technical, power complex and ship equipment.

14 October 2008: SST company completed the work on AK Alrossa projects.

In July 2008 SST specialists completed the works on the 6 large projects of AK Alrossa. The two projects are carried out for the greatest Alrossa centres - the mines “Mir” and “Udachniy” where the exterior engineering sewerage net and mine water conduits heating systems were set in operation. Alrossa performs its activities in one of the coldest regions of our planet. The main diamond production method is open-cut. In future with setting the mines “Mir” and “Udachniy” in operation the share of the underground mining method will be increased. Work at severe climatic conditions requires usage of special technologies and materials. The electrical heating systems make diamond production on the mines much more effective.

15 September 2008: Exhibition in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

SST company took part in the 10th International exhibition “Oil. Gas. Infrastructure/SIGOLD” which was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Sakhalin region), 9-11 September, 2008. The SST products with self-regulating cable usage attracted the visitors’ utmost interest. Among the participants of the exhibition the following ones should be mentioned: JSC «НК «Rosneft», “Sakhalin Energy”, “EXON”, “Elemer”, “AMURCABLE” factory and others. SST representative Meshcheryakov Vladimir Vasiljevich took part in the seminar «Sakhalin Energy: «Peculiarities of tender process. Requirements to contractors on the international project “Sakhalin-2”».

30 June 2008: Neftegas-2008

“Special systems and technologies”, LLC together with BARTEC SST CIS company took part in the 12th International exhibition “Equipment and technologies for oil and gas complex” “Neftegas-2008” which was held in “Expocentre” Central Exhibition Complex in Krasnaya Presnya, 23-27 June 2008.
The exhibition was organized by “Expocentre” Central Exhibition Complex together with “Messe Dusseldorf GmbH” (Germany) with patronage of Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with support of Moscow Government.
“Neftegas 2008” discovered to the wide range of specialists the latest Russian and foreign achievements in the areas of oil and gas production and hydrocarbon processing, making petrochemical products, high tech equipment release, devices and instruments used in all the spheres of oil and gas industry. The exhibition welcomed the greatest Russian and foreign oil and gas enterprises, totally more than 1 000 companies from 36 countries.
Teplomag systems purposed for pipelines and vessels industrial heating as well as explosion proof equipment of the German company «BARTEC GmbH» were presented on SST and BARTEC SST CIS exposition. The model of the pipeline with all options of «BARTEC Gmbh» products usage demonstratively presented was especially manufactured for the exhibition.
BARTEC SST CIS exposition turned to be one of the focuses of the increased attention of numerous visitors. It aroused great interest of the heads of the leading Russian oil and gas enterprises, of employees of the profile research and development institutes, as well as of mass media representatives. The exhibition resulted in establishing of new BARTEC SST CIS business contacts and strengthening of the present ones.

28 May 2008: Exhibition in Minsk

SST company took part in the XII International specialized exhibition “Chemistry Oil and Gas -2008", 23-27 May 2008, which was held in Belorussia National Exhibition Centre in Minsk. The new developments in the area of technologies, equipment, raw and chemical industry products, oil and gas equipment as well as oil, oil and gas products primary processing, transportation and storage were exposed at the exhibition. The visitors and quests observed the equipment samples of the petrochemical enterprises of Belorussia, companies of Russia, Austria, Germany, Ukraine, and Switzerland. SST company presented Teplomag systems and other products purposed for pipelines and vessels industrial heating.
SST exposition attracted great attention of the heads and specialists of petrochemical enterprises who are interested in getting information about the present state of market, latest technologies and developments.

16 May 2008: Welcome to exhibitions!

Welcome to Oil & Gas Industry exhibitions in Ufa and Minsk for visiting! On May 20th-23rd Special Systems & Technologies LLC participate in XVI international specialized exhibition "Gas, Oil, Technologies - 2008" – a forum of technique and technologies for oil, gas, oil-processing and petrochemical industry.

The exhibition is organized by the Government of Bashkortostan Republic, Russian Union of Oil and Gas Producers with the assistance of RF Ministry of Industry and Energy, Federal Energy Agency, and under the auspices of RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Holding of this exhibition is supported by RF Union of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers an also by Oil Refiner’s and Petrochemists Association of Russia.
Year by year the exhibition is visited by guests of honor and personally invited heads of Ministries and Agencies, top managers and specialists of enterprises of oil and gas complex from many regions of Russia as well as Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Byelorussia.
